At CCA’s Artspace 304 through April 21:
This Is Carbondale – exhibit of large scale photographic prints highlighting pages from the latest version of “community books”, a photo series by Photojournalism students at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. Led by SIUC Photojournalism faculty Mark Dolan, this year’s book was made possible by the Carbondale Chamber of Commerce and celebrates the positive spirit and cultural diversity of the Carbondale community.

Compassionate Community Photos – exhibit presented as part of 11 Days of Compassion: A Nonviolent Carbondale Initiative. The photos illustrate compassionate community action, which were collected from members of the Carbondale community. This exhibit is free and open to the public, it is sponsored by Charlie Howe, Carbondale Community Arts, and the Carbondale Public Library. At the Carbondale Civic Center Corridor Gallery through April 19- May 19:
Carbondale in the 1960’s: Historic Photos from Tom Davis – exhibit highlighting a collection of photographs capturing daily life and events taking place in 1960’s Carbondale. Photographer Tom Davis captured these moments while a photojournalist for The Southern Illinoisan Newspaper. CCA’s Artspace 304 is located at 304 W Walnut Street in downtown Carbondale. Free parking is available in the lots off of S University Ave between W Monroe St and W Walnut St.
Carbondale Community Arts gallery at Artspace 304 is open Wednesday-Friday from 11am-2pm, by appointment, and during all CCA public events.
